Reflections Experiments

In order to make the world more accessible, all the perspectives need to be taken into account. Metaphorically speaking we need to consider what we see and what we do not see, as crazy as it may sound. It seems to be one of the few ways that include experiences of other people thus the experience become more inclusive.

In order to portray that conceptually, I thought of using a piece of glass, as this way you can see what is in front as well as what is behind, so in a way, it portrays that idea of “putting into perspective what you do not even see”.

So in order to try this concept out, I bought a few frames with glass, as they break very quickly and I was walking around London trying to find interesting spots where I could combine reflection with the reality, I also went to Kew Gardens to do my experiment there as well.

It was the first picture I took for this concept, it happened accidentally, I just noticed that the coffee sign behind me was being reflected in the glass window of the coffee shop in a way that it kind of merged with the street outside.

This one was also taken with a broken piece of glass in front of the residence at the university, so here part of the building onto the parking area with trees in front.
